Easton Fire Chief Gerry Mulligan Passed Away Sunday

Gerry Mulligan worked as a firefighter for 18 years and was past Chief and President of Easton's fire Company.

The Easton Volunteer Fire Company announced the passing of Gerry Mulligan on Sunday on their Facebook page. Gerry was a past Chief and President of the company.

“Few people could match the dedication Gerry had to our organization. We will miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” they said online.

According to Mr. Mulligan’s LinkedIn page, he worked as a firefighter for 18 years, managed four career and 25 volunteer firefighters and is two-time Amkus Star award winner for his rescue efforts.

At the time of his passing he was working as an Independent Sales Representative for G&V Window Fashions,Merchant Blinds, Finecraft Shutters, Shades and Blinds, and LeFerForge Drapery Hardware in Conn., Mass., and R.I.
