Easton Landscaper to Serve 15 Years for Attempting to Hang Wife

The man entered pleaded no contest to the charges against him.

Cory Dawid, 42, pleaded no contest to attempted murder and first-degree strangulation, the publication reports. He will be sentenced May 1 to serve 15 years in prison according to the plea bargain.

Dawid tried to hang his wife in March 2014 and his teenage son called 911. When police arrived, Dawid admitted he tried to hang his wife in the family’s garage.
