Easton Man Arrested On DUI, Narcotics Possession Charges In Westport: Cops
The incident occurred on April 24.

WESTPORT, CT — A 50-year-old Easton man was arrested on Driving Under the Influence and Narcotics Possession charges on April 24 after police spotted him speeding on Bayberry Lane in Westport.
Mark Bartolone was pulled over at about 6:45 p.m. by Westport Police Officer Shane Pucci.
"While speaking with Bartolone, the Officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his vehicle," wrote police in a statement. "There was also a long brown paper bag on the front seat which appeared to contain an alcoholic beverage. Officer Pucci administered the Standard Field Sobriety test which Bartolone failed. The vehicle was searched and .04 grams of cocaine was found, as well as several containers of alcohol."

At police headquarters, Bartolone refused to submit to the requested urine test and was charged with:
- Operating Under the Influence Drugs / Alcohol
- Operating Under Suspension
- Traveling Unreasonably Fast
- Possession Narcotics
He was released after posting a $500.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on May 3.
