Easton Man Sentenced in Double Murder of His Parents
Kyle Navin's parents had operated J&J Refuse in Westport.

EASTON, CT — Kyle Navin, who pleaded guilty to the murder of his Easton parents, now faces 55 years in prison following his sentencing in Bridgeport Superior Court on Friday, The News Times is reporting.
Navin's parents had been reported missing in August 2015. Their bodies were found shot dead three months later, buried within contractor bags in a yard at an abandoned home in Weston. The Navins owned J&J Refuse in Westport, where their son worked.
Navin, 29, shocked many the last time he was in court on the eve of a jury trial by pleading guilty to the double murder. The plea deal opened the door for the state to drop certain charges that could have resulted in Navin getting life without the chance for parole.
