Easton Residents Graduate from Coastal Carolina University
Charles Johnson and Kathryn Marshall received a Bachelor of Science in business administration in management and marketing, respectively.

Approximately 1,100 students were graduation candidates for Coastal Carolina University's commencement ceremonies on May 6 and 7 at the HTC Center on campus. Grand Strand businessman and civic leader Dennis L. Wade was the speaker for the event, which consisted of four separate ceremonies.
Candidates for graduation included Charles Johnson of Easton, who graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in management, and Kathryn Marshall of Easton, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in marketing.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C. The university offers 70 areas of study toward the baccalaureate degree, and 17 master's degree programs, plus two educational specialist degrees. Coastal Carolina University was founded in 1954 as Coastal Carolina Junior College and became an independent state university in 1993.
