Gayle Weinstein to give “State of the Town” presentation in about a year that will define our town government

Charter revision, regionalization and regional planning structure, and the upcoming discussion about our budget and the state of Weston’s finances will be some of the subjects First Selectman Gayle Weinstein will cover during her annual “State of the Town” address to Weston Kiwanis this coming Saturday, March 10, at Norfield Parish Hall at 8:30 a.m.  Breakfast will be served and members of the public are welcome.

Ms. Weinstein, who believes this coming year is one which will define our town government, will also discuss other issues the town is dealing with, including making government more transparent and accessible, and the Lachat property.  Finally, she will talk about the town-wide facilities review, the Senior Center and changes to the Library.
