Home Energy Efficiency Workshop

Learn how to identify and prioritize the most helpful and cost-effective home energy efficiency improvements. The benefits of a Home Energy Solution (HES) visit will be explained along with the potential dangers ice dams pose to your home. Information on current tax credits, financing options and rebates will also be presented, with information on how to take advantage of these opportunities before they expire. HES technicians and a Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Advisor will be on hand to answer individual questions.

An interactive children’s program is also available while parents participate in the workshop. Kids (ages 6-10) will have fun making crafts and learning about conservation and the environment. Parents must remain on-site.

The workshops are given on behalf of the Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge in partnership with the Weston Warm Up Fund and Weston Kiwanis Club. Neigbor to Neighbor a non-profit program that is currently working in 14 communities across Connecticut.  The nearby towns of Westport, Wilton, and Ridgefield are also participating in the challenge. The overall goal of the program is to engage homeowners in reducing the energy consumption of their homes by 20%.
