Made up of six home schooled students from Redding, Easton and surrounding towns, the Crazed Carrot Destination Imagination team won first place and is is going to Globals in TN! These kids are part of a world-wide problem solving group and chose for their yearly challenge a community service problem that involved helping spread the word about endangered and threatened wild-life. They hosted a free screening of Sharkwater at Westport's Earthplace and will have an information booth at Fairfield's Earth Day Fair.
You can read more about their challenge and solution and make a donation to help them reach their goals here: http://crazedcarrots.bbnow.org/
Hope to see you at Fairfield's Earth Day on April 28th at Fairfield Warde High School. Come support the Earth, our community and these future leaders and problem solvers, the Crazed Carrots.
