Mort Schindel of Weston Woods will host an hour long program to celebrate the life and work of Maurice Sendak. Schindel, known as the “Wizard of Weston Woods,” brought cinematic life to many of the best loved children’s books of all time including Sendak’s Where The Wild ...Things Are and In The Night Kitchen. The program will include screenings of the original Weston Woods films to Sendak’s books, a rare biographical film on Sendak and his work, and a special discussion with Mort Schindel about his friend and colleague.
