Weston, along with 13 other communities in Connecticut, has signed on to take part in the Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge. Neighbor to Neighbor is a non-profit program whose goal is to engage 10% of residents in participating communities to reduce their residential energy consumption by 20%. The program has been funded through a competitive grant from the federal Department of Energy. Other participating communities in Fairfield County are Wilton, Ridgefield and Westport.
The Launch event will feature a few notable attendees, including Weston First Selectman Gayle Weinstein. All residents are welcome to attend! The event will feature a few local Weston-ites that have completed our program as well as a comprehensive program overview by Roger Smith, Regional Director of Clean Water Action. Neighbor to Neighbor staff will be on hand to answer any questions and talk about any feedback attendees might have.
