Wild Edibles

Wild Edibles

Saturday, May 21 11:30 – 4:30 Clover, chickweed, and wood sorrel are in everyone’s garden and lawn.  Milkweed and wild ramps may be in your field or by your streamside too. They are all beautiful plants that grow without the help of humans, are available to harvest responsibly and best of all, edible!   Three Red Trees School of Natural Living’s Andy Dobos and Deneen Bernier will start you on the never ending path to wild edibles. We will spend the beginning of the workshop gathering and learning about edible wild plants around the property and then take them into the kitchen where we will combine them with a few ingredients from the farm and market to make a salad and entree to be shared by all. Fee: $40/member, $45/non-member. Space is limited!
