Honda Owner Finds Tireless Car on Cinder Blocks

The tires, rims and hubcaps were reported stolen on Tuesday.

John Palmieri, 47, of Monroe woke up Tuesday morning to find his 1997 Honda Civic DX, which he had parked on the street across from his house, suspended on four cinder blocks with the tires, hub caps and rims missing.

Police did not provide the victim's name, but Palmieri's son contacted Patch on Tuesday and provided the photo that his father took.

"He did not have blocks hanging around, so the perpetrators must have brought it with them," Lt. Brian McCauley said Wednesday.
