Man Charged with DUI After Crash in Weston
The Westport man turned himself into Weston Police after an arrest warrant was issued for driving under the influence.

A Westport man turned himself in to the Weston Police Department on Nov. 23, 2015 after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Stig Berg, 50, crashed into a guard rail near the Redding line in July 2015, and, according to a police report, was “disoriented and slurring his speech.” Weston Police stated when they asked Berg if he had been drinking, he responded, “a lot of beers.”
Berg was transported to Norwalk Hospital where his blood alcohol registered .25.
Berg was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right. He posted a $25,000 bond and had a court date of Dec. 4, 2015.
