Navin Given New Court Date in Murder Trial: Report

Kyle Navin is accused of shooting his Easton parents and burying their bodies in a friend's yard.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The trial of Kyle Navin, accused of fatally shooting his Easton parents, has been given a new court date, reports the Connecticut Post. Judge Robert Devlin gave Navin another continuance in the case to Aug. 8.

Kyle is accused of murdering his parents Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin of Easton. He is charged with two counts of murder and one count of murder under special circumstances. (New Details, Motive Emerge in Missing Easton Couple's Murder)

Jeffrey Navin owned Westport-based J&J Refuse Company. Kyle was the operations manager, according to their website. Jeanette Navin was a paraprofessional at Weston Intermediate School. Court documents state that Kyle killed his parents after learning they planned to sell the family business and cut him out of their will.
