• St. Francis of Assisi marks 800th anniversary of saint's death (bridgeportdiocese.org) — St. Francis of Assisi Church in Weston recently filled for a special Mass marking the 800th anniversary of St. Francis' death, celebrated by Bishop Frank Caggiano. Parishioners then gathered for a picnic, and a first-class relic of St. Francis is now available for veneration and private prayer at the church on Norfield Road, with the Mass also viewable via the parish YouTube channel.
