Police Announce Significant Traffic Impacts in Easton and Redding
The closures are due to road and railroad crossing work in both towns
REDDING, CT — Road work will be closing streets in Easton and Redding during the upcoming weeks, as both police departments announced significant road closures this week.
South Park Avenue in Easton will be closed from Today, March 22 to Friday, March 24 between High Ridge Road and Flat Rock Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Detours are posted.
The Redding Police Department also announced closures due to MTA Railroad Crossing construction from March 31-April 6 at the Topstone Road and Simpaug Turnpike crossing.

The Long Ridge Road and West Redding Center crossing will also be closed from May 19 through May 25, although Simpaug Turnpike will remain open. Residents are asked to seek alternate routes.
