Police: Lab Mix Bites Serviceman

It's one of the mailman's worst fears ... getting bit by a dog.

And it became reality last month for a serviceman who was contracted to do work at a Redding home. According to the incident report, the homeowner called police to report that her lab mix bit the serviceman in the lower part of his right leg.

The man did not require hospitalization, police said. No further information was immediately available and no charges were filed.
