Redding All Hazard Emergency Response Refresher to be Held on April 30
This training session is open to all present and future volunteers in the towns of Bethel, Redding and Ridgefield.

REDDING, CT--A tri-town emergency response training program for Bethel, Redding and Ridgefield businesses, residents and volunteers will be held on Saturday, April 30 in Bethel.
The Bethel, Redding and Ridgefield Community Emergency Response Volunteers (CERV) are holding their annual "All Hazard Emergency Response Refresher" training event with the following presenters Randy T. Ashmore, certified Emergency Management Director and retired USCG Chief Petty Officer and Tom Galliford, Emergency Management Director for the Town of Bethel.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the C.J. Hurgin Municipal Center in the rear gym off Wooster Street, 1 School Street Bethel, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Registration will be from 8 - 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The training schedule is as follows:
- 8:30 to 8:40 a.m. Introduction
- 8:40 to 8:50 Pre-Test
- 8:50 to 9:20 Point of Dispensing (POD) Operation Presentation
- 9:20 to 9:30 Break
- 9:30 to 10:00 Role Play – Residents going through POD with Narration
- 10:00 to 10:10 Break and refreshments
- 10:10 to 11:50 POD Tabletop Exercise
- 11:50 to 12:00 Post Test
- 12:00 to 1:30 Working Lunch; Hotwash Discussion of Emergency POD Operation, Question & Answer session, evaluation, program end.
