Redding Finance Board Approves Latest Budget Proposals
This proposed budget covers the new fiscal year, which runs July 2108 to June 2019.

REDDING, CT -- The Board of Finance approved the revised proposed Board of Selectmen and Board of Education budgets Wednesday night by a vote of 5-1, The Aspetuck News has reported.
The latest overall number is $49,226,160, a 2.06 percent increase from the current year’s budget. It represents all the new budgets for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, and Redding’s portion of the Region No. 9 budget, which the town shares with Easton. This budget covers the new fiscal year which runs July 2108 to June 2019.
The new budget referendum -- the third, following the rejection on May 8 and June 5 -- is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Road.
