The Cobb’s Mill Inn in , which has been closed since 2010, is reportedly undergoing interior renovations and will soon be reopening as a restaurant.

According to a report in the Weston Forum, the Weston Planning & Zoning Commission last week approved an application from the building’s new owner, Drew Friedman, to complete substantial renovations including repairs to the roof, ceiling, floors, window sills and gutters, as well as replacing the hot water heater and repairing the furnace, among other improvements.

Friedman had initially requested a zoning change for the property to allow for more uses but his but it was denied by P&Z following lengthy public hearings at which residents opposed the additional uses, with most saying they wanted it to remain a restaurant, according to the report.
