First responders put their lives on the line on a daily basis, yet despite their selfless dedication, their bravery often goes unrecognized. As a child of an Army veteran and volunteer firefighter, Joseph Carr understands, firsthand, the commitment needed to serve the local community. He founded Josh Cellars in 2005 as a special tribute to his dad and makes sure to keep up with his father’s legacy as a proud volunteer by regularly teaming up with organizations like the Gary Sinise Foundation and Operation Homefront to organize charity events and giveaways. This time around, Carr has decided to bring his efforts closer to home by personally giving thanks to this local Connecticut volunteer group.
