Many residents from Weston, Redding and Easton shine at colleges nationwide.

Quinnipiac University recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester, and three area residents were among those named. Redding resident Natalie Ho-Yen and Mara Yamnicky and Eastonite Anja Grund were among those named.

Sacred Heart University named six area students to the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester. Redding residents Neetha Desai and Erik Holencik, Eastonites Amanda Bailey and Teresa Kushnir and Westonites Celeste McGeehan and Henry Potter were among those named.

Jordan Madison Masarek, a Westonite, was named to the dean’s list at Miami University for the Fall 2010 semester.

Two area residents were named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester at Washington and Lee University. Brad Harder, a junior from Redding, and Ginnie Low, a freshmen from Weston, were named.

Kathryn Derrig, a pharmaceutical and healthcare studies student from Easton, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia.

Four area students were named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester at Emory College. Westonites Alison Sitver, Ian Bolin and Evan Huang and Redding resident Diana Neeves all earned honors.

Two area students graduated from Emory University following the Fall 2010 semester. Simran Jain, daughter of Asha and Neal Jain of Easton, received a bachelor of arts and Matt Oberman, son of Jeffrey and Nancy Oberman, received a bachelor of business administration.

Victoria Storey, a nursing major from Redding, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester at DeSales University.
