
Tufts University recently announced its dean’s list for the Spring 2011 semester and two Westonites were among those named: Pamela Linke, a member of the Class of 2013 and Graham Beutler, a member of the Class of 2014. In order to be named, students must have a grade point average of 3.4 or better.
Stacy Taylor, of Redding, graduated from Gettysburg College, earning magna cum laude distinction. She majored in molecular biology and made the dean’s list for the Spring 2011 semester. Anthony DeSalva, also of Redding, graduated from Gettysburg as well, majoring in English.
Sacred Heart University recently held its commencement ceremonies, and many local students were among those who earned degrees. Redding resident Jared Hall earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration, and Kathleen O’Connor, also of Redding, earned a master of arts degree in teaching. Four Eastonites earned degrees: Monica Black earned a master of arts degree in teaching; Kathleen Lemma earned a master of science degree in nursing; Joseph Peloso earned a master of arts degree in teaching; and Amanda Wenger earned a bachelor of arts degree in art and design, graduating summa cum laude. Three Westonites also earned degrees: Jacob Aaron earned a bachelor of science degree in finance; Celeste McGeehan earned a bachelor of science degree in social work, graduating summa cum laude; and Brian Taylor earned a master of arts degree in criminal justice, graduating with honors.

Blake Schneider, of Weston, earned dean’s list honors for the Spring 2011 semester at SUNY Oneonta. In order to qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or greater.
Jane F. Dudley, a Westonite who's a member of the Class of 2012 at Stonehill College, was named to the dean's list for the Spring 2011 semester.
