School Briefs: July 15

John Bucca, of Weston, was named to Eastern Connecticut State University’s dean’s list for the Spring 2011 semester.

Eleanor von Jena, of Redding, was named to the dean’s list at the University of Massachusetts at Darmouth’s dean’s list for the Spring 2011 semester. She’s a music major.

Miami University of Ohio recently held its commencement ceremonies, and Molly Elizabeth Brown, of Weston, was among those who received a degree. She majored in business.

Ian Dempsey, of Easton, graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University. He received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy.

Westonites Brandon Brooks and Allison Fleming recently graduated from Cornell University. Both received degrees in agriculture and life sciences.

Three Westonites were recently named to the dean's list at Miami University of Ohio: Allison Elizabeth Crennan, Jordan Madison Masarek and Ana Elizabeth Zawacki.
