School Briefs: June 4

Many residents from Weston, Redding and Easton shine at boarding schools and colleges nationwide.

William Sullivan, of Easton, recently graduated from Keene State College in May.

Three local students recently graduated from Quinnipiac University. Those who earned degrees were Stephania Kataryna Fedorijczuk-Kushnir, of Easton, who received a master of science in nursing, Amanda M. Peloso, of Easton, who received a master of arts in teaching and Erin Elizabeth Yost, of Redding, who received a master of arts in teaching.

Virginia Low, of Weston, a member of the Class of 2014, and Bradley Harder, of Redding, a member of the Class of 2012, were both named to the dean’s list at Washington and Lee University for the Spring 2011 semester.

Bryant University recently held its commencement ceremonies, and three area residents received bachelor degrees. Brittany Auer, of Redding, earned a degree in marketing. Robert Maiorano, of Easton, earned a degree in entrepreneurship, and Constantin Sullivan, of Easton, earned a degree in accounting.

Eleanor von Jena, of Redding, graduated from UMass Dartmouth, receiving a bachelor degree in music. She graduated magma cum laude.

Martine Lydia Trinka, of Weston, recently graduated from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. Justin Roberts and Justin Seewald, both of Redding, earned bachelor degrees in English and international business, respectively. Anja Grund, of Easton, earned a bachelor degree in international business.

Five local residents recently received bachelor degrees from Skidmore College: Andrew Noone, of Redding and Emily Gorbach, of Easton; Elizabeth Roche, of Easton, graduated cum laude; Anne Satinover, of Weston, graduated magna cum laude; and Emily St. Denis, of Weston, graduated cum laude.

Two local students graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University: Amy Gould, of Redding, received a bachelor degree in communication, and Alexander Wilde, of Weston, received a bachelor degree in history and social science.

Brittany Kathryn Butler, of Easton, recently graduated with a bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Mary Washington.
