A Stamford man, who has described himself as a sorcerer who could walk on water, has been charged with burglarizing a Fairfield Beach Road home in 2012, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Paul F. Thomas, 53, of Charles Street, was arrested on a warrant in connection to the 2012 burglary in which more than $8,000 worth of items, including laptops and jewelry, was stolen from the home.

Thomas allegedly gave a teenager a laptop and jewelry after stopping by an Easton farm looking for a job and the items were linked to the Fairfield home burglary.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2012, but Thomas managed to elude police until he was stopped by Greenwich Police early Saturday morning and was turned over to the Fairfield Police Department.
