Weston High School Graduation To Be Held Outside
The parents and students have been raising funds for a tent.

WESTON, CT -- The GoFundMe campaign started by parents and students at Weston High School for the purpose of funding an outdoor graduation ceremony has been successful.
The school administration had cut the $21,500 of expenses necessary to setup, break down, light and police the tent necessary for an outdoor ceremony out of the budget. Instead, they decided the ceremony would be held in the school gym, which would restrict the number of guests each grad could invite.
After unsuccessfully petitioning the school not to break with the annual outdoor ceremony tradition, students and parents started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the money. Within four days they had raised the funds and presented a check for $21,500 to the school.
