Weston Police Chief Announces His Retirement: Report
Breaking: Chief John Troxell has served the department for 36 years, and as police chief since 2008.

WESTON, CT — Starting Saturday, the Weston Police Department will be without the services of Chief John Troxell for the first time in 36 years, reports the Weston Forum.
According to the report, Troxell announced his retirement from the force Wednesday which will be effective Saturday, Feb. 25. Due to unused vacation time, Troxell's last day on the force will be Friday, Feb. 10.
Troxell has served the department for 36 years, and nine years as the department's police chief. The chief called his retirement a family decision, retiring at 58 years old.
