Weston Ranked #8 of Top 100 School Districts in Country

Niche.com ranked over 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics. Weston ranked in Top 10 in the nation.

Niche.com has compiled its list of the top 100 school districts in the United States and five Connecticut schools made the list.

The Weston Public School District was voted No.8 in the nation. Connecticut school districts ranked in the top 100 include: New Canaan, 19, Westport, 30, Darien, 73, Ridgefield, 79, Glastonbury, 87, and Simsbury, 100.

The website ranked the Top 100 districts based on various factors such as the quality of its Academics, Extracurriculars & Activities, Student Culture & Diversity, and Teachers.

According to Niche, it “ranks more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents.”

A separate list was also compiled ranking the top 100 school districts in Connecticut.

Weston is ranked the 8th best school system in the state with an A+ score for academics, teachers, resources and facilities and extracurriculars.
