Weston, Redding & Easton Coronavirus Updates: 1 More Confirmed
There has been one more confirmed case of the coronavirus in Redding.
WESTON/REDDING/EASTON, CT — The state Department of Public Health has confirmed one more confirmed case of the new coronavirus in Redding, on Sunday, bring the total in that town to 21. Easton and Weston are holding at six and 32, respectively, since Friday's tally
Gov. Ned Lamont announced the total number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Connecticut reached 5,675 on Sunday and 189 people have died. Additionally, 1,142 people have been hospitalized since the inception of the pandemic last month.
According to state officials the surge of hospitalizations is now expected to be between April 26 through May 1 for Fairfield County. This means the hardest hit area of the state may still have more than three weeks of significant cases to be reported.
