Weston, Redding & Easton Coronavirus Updates: 9 Deaths Reported

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Weston, Easton and Redding.

WESTON/REDDING/EASTON, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed 63 active cases of the new coronavirus in Weston, 56 in Redding and 27 in Easton on Monday.

To date, there have been two deaths in Weston, six in Redding and one in Easton attributed to COVID-19.

Connecticut continues to see a decline in the net number of hospitalizations. The state is likely seven to 10 days away from an announcement about certain businesses that can be reopened in a limited capacity. There was a drop of eight net hospitalization cases Monday. Another 88 people died, which brings the state's total to 2,012.
