Weston Student Recognized by National Merit Program

A high school student from Weston, senior John Lapore, recently earned a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship program based on his PSAT scores. Lapore attends Cheshire Academy, in Cheshire, an independent boarding school.

To be named a “Commended Student,” the recipient’s results must fall within the top 50,000 highest scores in the nation, which reflects the top one-third of all tests taken in 2014.
