Weston Teen Driving Unregistered Dirt Bike on Route 7 Charged with DUI

A Weston teen was pulled over by police and charged with DUI after police observed him riding an unregistered dirt bike on Route 7. BREAKING

WESTON, CT — A Weston teen was pulled over by Wilton police on Route 7 in Wilton and charged with driving while under the influence after police observed him riding an unregistered dirt bike on Route 7, according to a police report. The 17-year-old male was spotted near the intersection of School Street and Danbury Road by a Wilton police officer at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.

The teen, of Upper Parish Drive in Weston, was pulled over for a traffic stop for operating an unregistered vehicle on public roads when the police officer observed signs of impairment, police said. He was found to be a juvenile operating under the influence, released to his parents and given a $260 bond.

The teen's court date is set for Sept. 26, 2016.
