WESTON TRAFFIC ALERT: Old Easton Turnpike Closed

From the Weston Volunteer Fire Department:

Travel Advisory Update on Fanton Hill Rd -

• Currently, Old Easton Turnpike to #19 Fanton Hill Road is closed to traffic.
• As of 2 p.m. today, tree crews have completed clearing branches and limbs from primary wires to allow for repairs.
• Eversource line crews are currently on scene to re-string the power lines. This work is expected to take between 6-8 hours.

We recommend that drivers avoid this area to make it easier for the line crew to finish their job. It also helps any Emergency response to that area.
