'Where The Harp Lies' Performances Are Next Week

Diana Canova's play comes to life at John Read Middle School next week.

Actress and long time has directed the play for the past 21 years. This year she is directing an original production called "Where The Harp Lies," a play she wrote, with music co-written by Kathy Weiss. This lively musical is a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk with a Cuban twist.

Performances of the play Wednesday, May 4, Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 8 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

The JRMS musical always sells out, according to Susan Winters, and tickets can be acquired online at www.johnreadps.org.
