Tybur, who has earned a prestigious college-sponsored National Merit Scholarship from Vanderbilt University, where he plans to study electrical engineering. His award is part of the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, which recognizes top-performing students nationwide based on PSAT scores, academic records, and extensive applications.

His team’s volunteer effort created a more welcoming space for the six young women living there. The project also supported AWARE CT’s new partnership with Susie’s House.
