Remembering Faith Taylor (06880danwoog.com) — Westport is mourning longtime resident and community leader Faith Hutchinson Taylor, a former Board of Education member and active volunteer with the Westport Library, Unitarian Church, and Earthplace. The 70-year-old, who loved Compo Beach and family gatherings in town, died after living with ALS since 2025. A memorial service is planned November 7 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, with donations suggested to Compassionate Care ALS or Aspetuck Land Trust.
4. Scarice: district is 'well positioned' this year (westportjournal.com) — Westport's school superintendent says the district is "well positioned" for a year focused on managing AI in classrooms, strengthening social-emotional and belonging work, and reviewing special education services.
