Antisemitic Propaganda Flyers Left In Westport Driveways: Police
The flyers, which were also anti-abortion in nature, were found in the neighborhood around Partrick Road.
WESTPORT, CT — Antisemitic propaganda flyers were left in driveways in a Westport neighborhood last week, and police are investigating.
The flyers were discovered on Thursday in plastic baggies weighed down with rice, according to authorities, who added that the materials were found in the Partrick Road area.
"The flyers were brought to the police department and have been secured as evidence," said Westport Police Lt. Eric Woods in a statement. "The content was somewhat random and incoherent, but was antisemitic in nature. The tagline stated, 'Every single asset of abortion is Jewish.' The author(s) of the flyer then list prominent Jewish men whose work, they claim, has been responsible for easing restrictions on terminating pregnancies and allowing the availability of contraceptives."
