The Congregation for Humanistic Judaism (CHJ) will hold its annual children’s Seder in celebration of Passover on Sunday morning, April 6, 10:30-11:45 AM, at Bedford Middle School, 88 North Avenue, Westport. Community members are invited to join the group and participate in this shortened model Seder. Families with children will find the event particularly welcoming.
Consistent with the practice of Humanistic Judaism, the model Seder contains the stories and elements of a traditional Seder and also offers modern interpretations of the meaning of Passover. The Seder will be followed by a brunch of Passover foods. Call (203) 293-8867 or email sundayschool@humanisticjews.org for more information or to let us know to expect you.

The curriculum is enriched by Hebrew language, music, art, dance, and crafts. Jewish and Humanistic values and their relation to interpersonal, social and environmental issues are explored in all areas of the curriculum. Small class size fosters involvement and learning.
