Breach Of Peace Case Against Westport Principal 'Nolled': Report
In November, Kris Szabo was accused of slapping a 71-year-old man during an altercation in Southbury over a parking space.
WESTPORT, CT — The breach of peace case from last fall against Kris Szabo, the principal of Westport's Coleytown Middle School, has been nolled in court and might not be prosecuted, reports the Republican-American.
When a case is "nolled" that means it will be dismissed after 13 months, unless if prosecutors decide to pursue the charge. Szabo, a Southbury resident who has been has been principal at the school since 2004, was accused of slapping a 71-year-old man during an altercation on Nov. 27 over a parking space in her hometown.
The Westport School District placed Szabo on administrative leave following her arrest; Patch reached out to district officials Thursday to find out her current status, but did not immediately receive a reply.
