The City of Bridgeport is Back in the Blue
In support of St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound
If you notice splashes of blue around the City of Bridgeport, preparations for St. Vincent's annual Swim Across the Sound Marathon are on. The 15.5 swim from Port Jefferson, Long Island, across the Sound to Captain's Cove Marina in Bridgeport, is set for Saturday, August 2. This exciting event is open to the public. Learn more
The Paint the City Blue project supports Swim Across the Sound which provides essential support to cancer patients in our area. Sponsor and memorial Swim Banners are available for purchase and are displayed throughout the city in the downtown area, at St. Vincent's Medical Center and along St. Mary's by the Sea.
