CNN's Alisyn Camerota Discusses 'Covering the 2016 Election' at Y's Women Event

WESTPORT, CT — CNN news anchor and Westport resident Alisyn Camerota will discuss "Covering the 2016 Election" during a presentation hosted by the Y's Women at 10:45 a.m. on Nov. 28 at Temple Israel in Westport.

She has covered breaking news stories on the ground, both internationally and domestically, including the Paris and Brussels terror attacks, the South Carolina church shooting and the nightclub shooting in Orlando. In the forefront of CNN’s coverage of the 2016 elections, she has conducted interviews with the Democratic and Republican nominees and many of the primary candidates. Outside of her role on New Day, Ms Camerota has anchored primetime specials including Sexual Assault on Campus, a panel discussion, and The Cosby Show: a legend under fire, a conversation with the comedian’s alleged victims. In previous positions on the Fox News channel, she covered a wide variety of hard news and human interest stories.
