Cynthia Sayer

Celebrated as the top 4-string banjoist in the world today, instrumentalist and vocalist Cynthia Sayer is praised for her “drive and virtuosity” by the NY Times! She is a founding member of Woody Allen’s New Orleans Jazz Band and she has explored her wider musical interests by playing with other legendary jazz, pop, and roots music artists.

Her eclectic, swing-based shows treat audiences to the rarely heard range and versatility of the 4-string banjo, America’s original jazz instrument, and her warm, engaging audience connection wins hearts wherever she goes.

Note: Lawn & Concession open to the public one hour before show-time. Facility is closed to public during load-in and sound-check. Picnics are welcome. The Levitt Pavilion and its perimeter is a non-smoking area. Pets are not allowed.
