Trains Back 'On or Close to Schedule' Along Metro-North New Haven Line
Delays of up to about 25 minutes were reported along a section of the Connecticut railroad.

WESTPORT, CT — Metro-North New Haven Line Service between Stamford and New Haven is back on or close to schedule Wednesday after experiencing residual delays of up to 25 minutes due to bridge mechanical issues, officials announced.
The delays were initially reported by Metro-North as "due to an earlier drawbridge failure that delayed closing in the vicinity of Westport." Further details were not disclosed.
When delays occur, Metro-North urges rail travelers to listen for announcements at their station.
