Driver Injured in Rollover Crash on I-95 in Westport
The accident occurred Saturday morning near exit 18.
WESTPORT, CT - A driver was injured and had to be extricated for their vehicle early Saturday morning following a one-car rollover accident on I-95 in Westport near exit 18 northbound, according to Assistant Fire Chief Brian Meadows.
No other injuries were reported in the 6:44 a.m. crash, in which the vehicle struck a pole and flipped onto its side.
The driver was pulled from the vehicle just after 7 a.m. and transported to Westport EMS for treatment.

Fire personnel from Engine 2, Engine 4, Rescue 3 and the Shift Commander detail were required at the scene to stabilize the vehicle and remove the driver, according to the department.
