The 5Rhythms practice is a moving meditation practice, an improvisational form of dance. This practice is a map of an energetic wave that we see in the patterns, rhythms and cycles of life. Flowing connects us to our feminine nature. Staccato connects us to our masculine nature. Chaos marries and integrates these two energies. As a result we find transformation in Lyrical. From this transformative space we are then connected to Stillness. The nature of the stillness dance invites compassion and connection in ourselves, our partners and our communities.
Here we will journey in the energetic realms of the 5Rhythms. Practicing the embodiment of transition and change as we move from rhythm to rhythm. Practicing fluidity and opening so that we can become the empty vessel. In this place we fulfill our potential to both give and receive all that is available to us in this life.
We will be using the practices of The 5Rhythms dance, poetry/writing, ritual theater, compassionate-touch (self-care massage), and sharing circles to guide us in our experience. We will return again and again to the dance as we map the rhythms, waves, patterns cycles in our own bodies. This is a workshop designed for anybody, of any age, or size. Deep in this form we are all dancers.

Cost of Attendance: $80 early/$90 same day
Full payment is required to reserve a spot in the workshop.
Refund policy: Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance, will receive a full refund. No refunds/credits for cancellations made less than 72 hours.
If you incur an injury, have a medical emergency, which prevents you from participating in the workshop you registered for it can be applied to a future workshop, doctor’s note required.
