Westport, CT:  The New England Culinary Group is producing CHEFS with HEART, an evening of wonderful cuisine, music with style, and dancing. Along with recreating the old time supper club motif, NECG has brought together a diverse group of talented chefs to prepare the menu for the evening, which will be an eclectic mix of styles and flavors, pulling from their impressive backgrounds. Proceeds from CHEFS with HEART will go to The American Heart Association.

 

CHEFS with HEART will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at the newly revitalized Westport Inn. The Inn’s stunning new ballroom will provide the backdrop for what is going to be an elegant, yet lively night of sass and swing. The Chefs for the evening include;

Jodi Bernhard – Barcelona Restaurant and Wine Bar

David Donnelly – Eramosa at The Westport Inn

Robyn Eads – Peace Tree Desserts

Pedro Garzon – Manolo

Patrick Tennaro – Old Post Tavern

 

Each chef will be preparing one course, in addition to hors d’oeuvres that will be served throughout the cocktail hour. Beverage sponsors are Opici Wines and S.Pellegrino / Acqua Panna.

 

“Fairfield County is chock full of wonderful culinary events,” says Linda Kavanagh, Co-Director of the New England Culinary Group,” We felt it was important to create a truly unique experience that not only showcased the chefs’ talents, but provided guests with a distinctive, high spirited event.”

 

The music for the evening will be that perfect mix of swing, big band, standards, and Rat Pack favorites performed by The Bruce Coviello Group, which will include brass and vocals.
