Christie's Country Store Farmers Market

THE WAIT FOR REAL FOOD IS OVER

                          OPENING JUNE 3RD!

The Farmers’ Market at Christie's is the brain child of Renee and John Hooper who purchased Christie's Country store in 2009. Christie’s has always been the hub of the neighborhood and the Hoopers thought that it makes more sense to bring the market to the neighborhood rather than asking the neighborhood to travel downtown to a parking lot to buy fresh produce and goods.  Unlike other local farmers markets, the Hoopers do not charge the vendors an annual and daily sales fee (aka rent) for the privilege of opening a stand in the market. This is a labor of love and a unique way to reintroduce the store to people in Westport, lower Weston and Fairfield’s Greenfield Hill.
