Hip Opener Workshop with Robin Lange

Unlock the mental and emotional stress stored in your hips and sacrum. Experience the freedom and utter surrender that comes with an intelligently deep and thorough hip opening sequence. This workshop will focus on strengthening the hip flexors, buttocks and thighs through their fullest range of motion followed by deep hip opening work to awaken the pelvis and unleash the lower spine. 

As your hips become more flexible, you may experience a sense of emotional release, as we carry much of our anxiety and tension in our hips. When the hips are loosened up and the sacrum and pelvis are better aligned, we become more comfortable, feel lighter and younger. Your hips, pelvis and spine will develop a new relationship with the earth through the practice of various seated asanas while your legs learn to support your body with strength and length in the standing asanas. 

In addition, opening the hips takes excessive pressure off the unforgiving knees. Open hips let you enjoy a new sense of space in your pelvis—and help protect you from compression and pain in your lower back!
