Sunrise Rotary Wine Tasting and Silent Auction

Westport Sunrise Rotary will hold its 21^st Annual Wine Tasting & Silent at the Inn at Longshore in Westport on October 29 from 6:30pm till 9:30pm. 

The tasting will feature more than 50 wines from around the world – U.S., France, Spain, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia – from the crispest to the richest whites, from fruity reds to the boldest, and a bit of the bubbly.  There will be a selection of international cheeses and artisanal breads, and gourmet carving stations offering roast beef and roast turkey.

A silent auction will offer opportunities to bid on an array of goods, services and meals from many of Westport's finest stores and restaurants, hard to get tickets to sporting and cultural events, and vacation stays at singular resorts.

All this, plus music by The Bob Lasprogato Trio.

Wines have been selected for the tasting by Harvey Skolnick, owner of the Liquor, 68 Main Street, Westport.  Tickets are $50 per person and can be obtained at the Liquor Locker, at all three Westport branches of Fairfield County Bank or from a member of Westport Sunrise Rotary club.
